The Annunciation being a fish day (¡YAY!) I’ve prepared some lovely Moroccan spiced Talapia to take to the monastery today for Trapeza.
Had a very cool discussion with Peter yesterday about the recent series of “emergent” posts on Praxis A’ville. (There’s more coming, btw - forgive the delay: documenting dialogue is rather different from BlogPost writing!) During the course Peter asked me a rather direct question which I realise might interest some of the readers out there.
Where do you see yourself fitting in the Christian spectrum these days? or does that presuppose too much?
I’m not worshipping w/ Praxis - my contact with them has been rare and only “social” or “conversational”. The documentation is being posted because it’s interesting from a Church-Geeky POV and because it hits on some of the topics we’ve discussed here. Yer Host has not received communion from them (which is to be excommunicated from the Orthodox Church).
Let’s say I’m in discernment now. With my confessor’s knowledge I’m not going up to the chalice.

Huw – Sorry I’ve been out of the loop, but what is Praxis? Do you have a link or something?
