Asheville Cohort?

Thanks to the folks at the Village, four guys from Asheville set down tonight to participate in the Emergent Conversation. Following a long-standing and ancient tradition (think Wesley) and promptly violating ancient canons, we met in a local brew pub. This was a getting-to-know-you sort of meeting - who, what, where and why were prominent topics, along with the decision to meet again.
Given the general perception of EmChurch, I found it a curious coincidence that all of us had connexions to Anglicanism (in one form or another). I look forward to continuing the conversation.

Hey, I’ve been kind of reading your blog in secret for a couple of weeks. I live in Orlando, FL, but I used to live in Asheville, and I am looking to move back.
I am part of a small emergent community, and I am interested in your guys conversation. I think I am just interested in listening.
This might all sound very strange, but I guess I am just stumbling towards heaven, and I have experience a little bit of kindred joy when I read your blog.
Thanks for writing.
Hey Ryan.
Come on along. We’ll get around to having regular discussions soon enough, I think!
