Xian meets Atheist and promptly stomps on another person’s religion. Way to go Al, you nappy headed politician. You should follow Don Imus right into the dustbin of history.
And who says Religion is the source of all the problems in the world?

I personally won’t be voting for Mitt Romney. Not because I don’t think he could be a capable leader. He actually seems like a nice guy and a nice face for Mormons. My problem is that he is a Mormon, which bothers me simply because I grew up in a similar pseudo-Christian cult. There are plenty of personal experiences out there of ex-Mormons who tried to leave quietly and their whole family disowned them. It’s awful to go thru on a personal level. Two years later I have family that refuses to speak to me - not because I did anything wrong, but because I chose not to be a member anymore. Because of that they have labeled me as demonic and treat me, my wife, and my children as if we are dead. It is a big part of the reason we moved 1000+ miles away to Asheville.
It’s a personal choice, and I’m certainly not defending Sharpton’s comments. But I do think people need to be awakened to the terrible things that are done by SOME (not all) religions in the name of God.
(I know I am gonna get flamed for writing this, but it’s how I feel) ;-)

Don - nothing wrong with your position - you vote for whom you vote for your reasons.
I just think it’s odd that, given the “New Atheist” position is that all the world’s problems are caused by religions fighting, the “pro religion” guy should start out by fighting with another religion.
