I already sent you a link a couple of weeks ago where one of the Republican candidates further explained that he felt that the question was unfair, in that it reduced the debate to either 6-day creationism or secular evolutionism.
Rabbi Shapiro alludes to the same dilemma. The dilemma is not that I believe that God created, but that the media, as shown by the oversimplified question to the Republican candidates, either does not understand that there are other positions, or does not care because they are after publishable meat.
In that sense, I object to the phrasing of Rabbi Shapiro’s question in that he scores a cheap shot on the Republicans for a question with bad phrasing asked by the media. There are plenty of expensive shots that can be scored, but they require homework and understanding and careful explanations, none of which most of the media want to engage in.
You did send that link… one or the other of the answers was playing politics - or both.
