Be Poets of the Logos!

Sarx (σαρξ) is the Greek word for "flesh". This is the blog of a Southern Man (sojourning in Buffalo, NY) attempting to follow God in the way of Jesus.

NB: I'm currently on a "Blogging Sabbatical" to celebrate my 15th Year of online Journaling. While "Daily Tweets", the occasional review of a book, movie or eatery and Photo Blogging all continue, the daily posts have stopped until January 2011. All comments are currently in moderation.

Disclaimer

I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men. Interesting coincidence

When I first heard this on the news:

A mummy found more than 100 years ago has been identified as pharaoh Queen Hatshepsut, Egyptian officials announced Wednesday. She was one of the most powerful and mysterious of all ancient rulers.

Upon hearing the name, Hatshepsut, the first thing I thought of was the TV Show, Isis, from when I was growing up. Cruising down memory lane… ok… just the Wiki Page, not only did I find the Hatshepsut reference, but also this note:

In 2006, BCI, an American distributor of DVDs, announced it had acquired the rights to release the series on DVD in North America, with a release scheduled for July 24, 2007.

That would make it just in time for the discovery of Hatshepsut to make the Isis DVDs newsworthy.

Coincidence?

Or the actions of Mighty Isis?
