2 months ago to mail a letter, a one page letter, to Canada cost about 60¢. Today that same letter - from one page up to 4lbs - cost $1.00!
Colour me livid because my father worked for the postal service and I know what they do.
Livid.
And to get form here to Hamilton takes (are you ready…) about 9 days. This new $1.00 postage relies not on location so it would cost a dollar to sent that one page from Niagara, NY, to Niagara on the Lake, Ontario.
Livid.
And refraining from saying “!@#$%” out loud at the office.
My only hope is a bit of a snafu on the USPS website, but I’ve never had any bad info from them.
A !@#$% Dollar.
A postcard, btw, to Canada, cost now 69¢.
