Not exactly. What I am saying that there has been a Christian basis to law in the US since its inception. It is the increasing secularization of things that it is change, not the Christianization of them. Liberals complain when anyone says, “No, wait a minute, the majority in this country still adhere to a generally Biblical view of right and wrong.” That is not the same thing as creating a religious code and religious courts to deal with criminal offences.
Gotcha, although i’ve seen enough that debate the “Christian basis” one way or the other.
