Loonies in the Senate

14 July 2007 - 29 תמוז 5767 by Huw

A real celebration of religious freedom here… and some silly people as well

If you listen very closely you can hear some of the Pharisees with whom Jesus often fought: they are verbally showing how long their fringes are and demanding that the best seat in the house (guest chaplaincy) be reserved for them.

Update: G-R’s Molly is collecting stories about this event.

Question: is Hinduism simply polytheistic or is it henotheistic (one main God but others are there, too) and if the latter, what makes it different from early Judaism recorded in the parts of the Bible where YHVH is “among the gods”?

This is the self-ruled blog of an Christian attempting to follow God in the Way of Jesus... sometimes. I most identify with the Anglican and Liberal Catholic flavours. I am a Confederate American sojourning in Buffalo, NY.

  • Disclaimer

I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men.
