Yes, Jesus Loves Me…

8 September 2007 - 26 אלול 5767 by Huw

Just sent them the following email:

Hi -

I’ve just looked at your website (at http://www.forthebibletellsmeso.org/) as well as at your preview on YouTube. Please consider a screening “For the Bible Tells me so” in Asheville, NC! We’re noted for how gay friendly we are in our local, civic propaganda (we have a pride fest of our own in October - the only one in this part of the state at all. http://www.ashevillepride.org/).

But we’re surrounded by the people in the movie - Billy Graham lives about 10 miles up the road and anti-gay street preachers show up at most of our public events - most of which events have nothing to do with anything gay.

We have a good indy theatre in town at http://www.fineartstheatre.com/ I’ve no idea at all if they would be interested - but I’ve CCed this email to their “info” address.

To be clear, I’m not affiliated with any of the groups in this email!

But I think Asheville would be a good place for your movie!

Yours,

Huw Richardson

  • Disclaimer

I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men.
