Mammals: the Creationists’ Cut

Ruth points us to a evangelical editing of Sir David Attenborough’s “The Life of Mammals”. She provides YouTube links, although I wonder how long they will be active.
Regardless of one’s view of mammalian history, does one need to edit art created by an opponent? Or is this new version simply what DJs would call a Mash-up and therefore art in its own right? Thomas Jefferson cut all the miracles out of the Gospels… making The Jefferson Bible. Christians got offended. (Some still do - 200 years after the fact!) OK.
What makes editing all the science out of Attenborough any different?
