Updated Murphy Bed

I love Murphy Beds. Always have.
BoingBoing reports on a new design for the folding wonders that incorporates a sofa and a bookshelf - both of which are not simply to disguise the closed bed, but also to provide support.
The design is remarkably similar to one I designed and built in SF when I moved there. The major difference being that I used side supports instead of the sofa. My shelf on the back was to support my keyboard.
I think I may sketchout the design for a new Murphy Bed…
