Not Your Tuna Casserole

Ingles carries a locally grown smoked trout, marinated and smoke in grape vines and hickory. It is amazingly tasty. Tonight we tried it in a casserole. I’m sure you can get smoked trout in a number of places.
- 1 Bag of Egg Noodles (boiled and drained)
- 2 smoked trout diced up
- 1 can of Campbell’s Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 cup of bread crumbs (flavoured or plain)
Preheat oven to 350.
- Butter/grease an 8×8 cake pan and set aside.
- Toss noodles with diced trout to mix evenly.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup.
- Put in the pan.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake for 30-35 mins or until brown and crunchy on top.



I made this today with tuna (only fish on hand !) and it was fantastic.
It is not a dish I would have normally made, so I thank you for broadening my culinary horizons :-)
