NPR began a story today, saying “With the economy being so weak, it’s possible that many of you have smaller budgets this Christmas season. So it’s time to get creative with gift-giving…”
With a lede like that, the story about useless electronic gadgets that you must really buy this year seemed to be the worst possible advice. Reminds me of W telling us to shop in order to get over 9/11.
