T-Shirts for a Strong Loonie

I’ve been thinking this week about a line of sarcastic (and slightly vulgar) t-shirts to celebrate the fact that the Canadian Dollar is stronger than the US Dollar in world markets. 1 US dollar can currently only purchase 98 Canadian cents - in the 1980s, for example, I could get between 110 and 120 Canadian cents for the same US dollar. In 1988, paying with US money got me a 20% discount at the McDonalds in Montreal.
“Thanks, George” is near the top of the list. Others include:
“Bend Over, US. Canada’s On Top”
“Loonies are Longer, That’s Why”
“Currency of Colour is Better”
“Don’t Take Any US Nickels”
“Once You go Loonie You Never Go Back”
“Canada: We’re the top”
“Socialised Medicine = Better Economy”
“Canada: It’s the Economy, Stupid”
(This one only works for certain folks…)
“I like my currency like I like my men:
Strong and Canadian”
I realise things will probably change drastically during the Clinton Obama administration, but I won’t hazard a guess as to which direction things will go.
