Had to put the truck in four-wheel drive to come home! OMG… It’s so beautiful out there! No… no pictures. I was busy chanting as I drove.
Wow: this is why I moved here - for this weather. It’s only happened 2ce in 5 winters. GRRR.
There actually enough snow outside to make Snow Ice Cream. And I’ve no sweetened condensed milk!!!!

Snow Ice Cream! I hadn’t thought of that in years, although it was a favorite treat my mother made on the rare occasions southeast Texas got snow. We just called it Snow Cream. Given that we had more snow in the month of December than our part of Wisconsin normally gets in an entire winter season, I really should dig up the recipe.
Wow! Snow! Wish I was on your side of the mountains. We just had a few flurries over here.
On a foodie note (possibly useful if you are following various religious food rules)… Someone gave me The Joy of Vegan Baking for my birthday and it is fantastic. No lie. I thought of it as she has a formula for making a nondairy replacer for condensed milk… vegan snow ice cream! :)
You are going to llllovvvve Buffalo if you dig snowstorms my friend - as in, having-to-dig-snow-off-the-roof-so-it doesn’t-collapse snowstorms. In other news, you will be 6 hours and change from Worcester, so we will have to be getting together.
