Let There Be Light

Apparently Hamas has been staging candlelit parliament sessions in Gaza and blaming the lack of power on Israeli blockades and power cuts. But as Gawker points out in this Reuters photo, there is light coming in behind the drawn curtains:

I don’t doubt there are serious issues worthy of news coverage but staging a blackout in broad daylight seems, to me just as dishonest as the infamous “Dancing on 9/11″ video.

    Yep, or the famous “rolling the dice” comment by Bill Clinton. (For the sake of fair disclosure, let me admit that I am an Obama man.)
