Christ is Risen!

Be Poets of the Logos!

Sarx (σαρξ) is the Greek word for "flesh". This is the blog of a Southern Man (sojourning in Buffalo, NY) attempting to follow God in the way of Jesus.

I am a priest in the Russian Orthodox Church in America (ROCIA). We are growing a Mission community here in Buffalo.

Disclaimer

I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men. Rules of the Road

Time to repost the Rules of the Road:

YER HOST Has very few rules of hospitality – the Coire Ansc, the Bottomless Cauldron is my general idea. But the internet is a place of virtual community and trust so, for the safety of everyone here I’m reposting the “rules of the road”. These were once posted on the side bar, but I thought to remind everyone.

  • No expressions of hate will be tolerated – and yes, I get to decide what that is, because it’s my blog.
  • I’m not here to debate theologies of different religions.
  • Everyone must have a name – exceptions being if I know you in the flesh.
  • Once you have a name, use it.
  • On the internet your words incarnate you: Live up to them.
