Be Poets of the Logos!

Sarx (σαρξ) is the Greek word for "flesh". This is the blog of a Southern Man (sojourning in Buffalo, NY) attempting to follow God in the way of Jesus.

NB: I'm currently on a "Blogging Sabbatical" to celebrate my 15th Year of online Journaling. While "Daily Tweets", the occasional review of a book, movie or eatery and Photo Blogging all continue, the daily posts have stopped until January 2011. All comments are currently in moderation.

Disclaimer

I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men. Triumph Des Willens

I like Roseanne. No… that’s not the right way to say it… I love the woman. I watched the show: I lived the show when I was her children’s age. I enjoy the show then and now. I’ll stop my life and watch it just for the heck of it. I recorded it on the DVR. I watched it before I went to sleep on the 3rd Shift… She and I disagree on some politics, but that’s ok: smart people often disagree on things. I’d still love to have her over for dinner just for the conversation. ANYWAY… Today’s post just went over the edge into that scary place where (some-but-not-all) modern “spiritual-but-not-religious” people fail to realise what they sound like when they issue spiritual ultimatums. This is when the left start sounding like the right.
