A Commonplace Prayerbook

The purpose of my newest website is to collect prayers for my personal use: but they are posted for you as well. I’ve designed it for access via my iPod Touch: the idea being, I don’t want to offer myself any excuses any more. It really does look very nice accessed via mobile-safari (someone will have to tell me what it might look like from another portable i-net device.
Yes, I’ve crossed the streams: I’m a Liturgical Hunter/Gatherer, a Palaeolithic Liturgy Geek. I weave a healthy dose of the Book of Common Prayer with Byzantine liturgy and modern, inclusive language as well as my own personal devotions and even non-Christian sources. And sometimes it may change. T
he idea is to combine a personal Prayerbook with the Commonplace book - a personal collection of prayers, devotions, etc. I hope to include icons and hymns and whatall. Now it’s just prayers.
Comments are not allowed over there. But they are, of course, over here.
If you don’t like my prayers, a wonderful resource is the daily feed from the Church of England’s Common Worship:
Lauds (Morning Prayer) yesterday
Vespers (Evening Prayer) yesterday
Compline (Night Prayer) yesterday
Lauds (Morning Prayer) today
Vespers (Evening Prayer) today
Compline (Night Prayer) today
Lauds (Morning Prayer) tomorrow
Vespers (Evening Prayer) tomorrow
Compline (Night Prayer) tomorrow
(The feed is provided for yesterday, today and tomorrow because this is the internet…)
