Some place between 40 and Death

This picture was taken when I was at St Gregory of Nyssa Church with Brodie last October. It is an icon of Holy Silence painted by Betsy Porter. I found Betsy’s website the other day - where you can see other examples of her work (as well as the work of people she’s taught).
Betsy also designed the tapestry I photographed to turn into this desktop image.
