The Courts of Canada have ordered Anglicans to act like Christians to each other!
A Superior Court judgment released yesterday has ordered three parishes in the diocese of Niagara that voted earlier this year to affiliate themselves with the Province of the Southern Cone to share the use of their property with the diocese.
Bravo! Bravo!

I was speaking with a friend of mine earlier today - he had been an Anglican priest before leaving the Communion and becoming a Presbyterian. His comment on this story is that the “sharing” being ordered here is between the existing parish communities whose ancestors built the parish, and a handful of “liberal activists” parachuted in to maintain the pretense of opposition. My friend is understandably biased, but he managed to raise some interesting questions that I hadn’t considered when you and I discussed this earlier.
I think that’s a biased stretch - and short of interviewing people at the parishes in Hamilton, I’ve no way to check, so I’ll let it stand. But note my discomfort with his story.
Duly noted. And I think he is missing the point, to be honest.
