VER AT The Lead Jim reports on a stupid case of rumours and telephone:
The Episcopal Church and an unspecified number of African bishops were to meet on the lawn in front of the media centre tomorrow at 3 p. m. to have it out. The Africans have demanded that the meeting be held in public, so its outcome would be plain for all to see. A cage match!
It’s a rich case of the media *wanting* the Christians to look stupid.
Now I want to be clear: we’ve got a lot of ways for us to look stupid. But we don’t need to feed ‘em like we keep doing (law suits, property wars, and a few other choice items come to mind).
