But, we have the same type of extremism in this country as well. How many people were threatening to move to Canada last election simply because their candidate did not win? And what about the people on the right or left, from Posse Comitatus folk on the right to pacifist tax resisters on the left. All of them act as thought the violation of one of their principles gives them the right to opt out of the social contract. They are continually surprised when they are convicted and jailed for simply “exercising their rights.”
