I think volunteering at a soup kitchen, participating in an AIDS charity, helping veterans out, speaking out against the occupation in Iraq or simply saying a kind word to somebody who needs to hear it (who knows, maybe even a conservative RC or Orthodox who's still fighting the culture war) is a far better use of my time than calling"them" on it. I always get suspicious with anyone who says that something is "crystal clear". It's a statement that reflects ideological thinking and an agenda. In Touchstone's case, their agenda is to place patriarchal social values as essential to being a Christian. More Christians need to call them on this.
