Christ is Risen!

Be Poets of the Logos!

Sarx (σαρξ) is the Greek word for "flesh". This is the blog of a Southern Man (sojourning in Buffalo, NY) attempting to follow God in the way of Jesus.

NB: I'm currently on a "Blogging Sabbatical" to celebrate my 15th Year of online Journaling. While "Daily Tweets", the occasional review of a book, movie or eatery and Photo Blogging all continue, the daily posts have stopped until January 2011. All comments are currently in moderation.

I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men. Convention Day 1 Wrap

YES, INDEED, Yer host stopped live blogging at about 4PM. Shortly thereafter the table around which we were sitting became swamped with commentary – and we were getting rather punchy during the reports and the debate over our first resolution (to form a transition team in the light of the Bp’s retirement).

A sort of Evening Prayer Lite followed, with some good singing (especially of the Evening Hymn in Canon). With the altar set up in the middle of the room, it interests me to see what we shall do for liturgy.

Had an interesting talk about discernment with a friend this evening. I’m feeling all kinds of supported and challenged. And entirely too pooped to pop off to the Halloween party.

Late 60s TV Trivia (70s and TV land for reruns). Name the series from whence comes the line “too pooped to pop”.
