I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men. CONSERVATIVE Catholics are missing the point: saying “Catholics rejected a ‘narrow social agenda’” on the one hand and “Catholics voted based on the economy over moral issues” is exactly the same thing. With the sole exception of the One Remaining Sin, vast numbers of Americans admitted that there are more important things than worrying about the right to life – even when their religious leaders say otherwise.

And they even said, “In these Economic times, a leftist who some fear might be a Muslim is way better than a rightist who might share my faith.” No matter what my religious leaders say.

They also said, “What good is prolife for the first nine months if you won’t take care of them later?”

And, yes, they said the economy is more important that religious or moral issues – No Matter What Their Religious Leaders Say.

Face it, guys: you lost. Doesn’t matter how you phrase it.

Except for your one remaining ability to trump Christian Love with hate and fear of those different than you.

And we gay folk are so happy to be your whipping post this time around. Again.

Thanks.

I listed to Catholic radio on election day and Dr. Ray (I think is his name) talked about how he couldn’t understand Catholics who don’t vote pro-life. He used a number of simplistic, sophomoric arguments to make it all very obvious that one must vote for John McCain pro-life.
