Christ is Risen!

Be Poets of the Logos!

Sarx (σαρξ) is the Greek word for "flesh". This is the blog of a Southern Man (sojourning in Buffalo, NY) attempting to follow God in the way of Jesus.

I am ordained in the Independent Sacramental Movement, serving under the omophor of Bp Craig of the Universal Anglican Church. We are growing an Eastern Rite community here in Buffalo.

Disclaimer

I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men. In process…

AAfter percolating for about a week, Sunday’s sermon started to write itself yesterday at Lunch. I shared with a housemate that being away from a paper and pen (or keyboard) felt like being trapped in a car and needing to go to the bathroom.

Returning to work has been an odd event: it’s kinda like being in a time warp and getting whiplash. Several of my former coworkers (also unemployed) are giggling. Meanwhile the feelings inside the office are totally different: it’s much less stressed there, less drama and more productivity, albeit in smaller doses.

This, of course, means that CPE is on hold again.

Off we go: time for Matins!
