Sarx (σαρξ) is the Greek word for "flesh". This is the blog of a Southern Man (sojourning in Buffalo, NY) attempting to follow God in the way of Jesus.
I who have written this story, or rather this fable, give no credence to the various incidents related in it. For some things in it are the deceptions of demons, other poetic figments; some are probable, others improbable; while still others are intended for the delectation of foolish men. Looks like an indie house church, which gets me wondering: why do so many Epicopal and other mainline churches hold on to their beautiful buildings for dear life while many of these same congregations are nothing more than a miniscule exclusive chapter of aging Daughters of the American Revolution? Don’t get me wrong, I love beautiful worship spaces, and if a congregation can afford to maintain their beautiful building without taking away from spending on mission, then fine. This is not the case with many mainline congregations, though. Catholics tend to worship the Church Hierarchy, evangelicals tend to worship the bible, while mainline protestants tend to worship their blasted beautiful buildings!

Indeed, it is an Indy House Church: in my own house.
