I’m not sure if the partial-preterist position is right but it makes sense and it puts an end to the predispensationalist-sensationalist tripe which I am absolutely sure is tripe. The reason I’m not sure is pretty much what Gregory said – there are more important things. The end-of-the-world is a mystery we can’t fathom but the cycle of faith is a mystery that we can experience and help others experience – if we are prepared to give time and effort. Alas and alack, all their current fixations do is contribute to the noise and hubris of this very messy, disturbed world.
