Star-Buck

Starbucks moves to offer an 8oz cup of brewed coffee for $1. This “innovation” in the market is, if I remember correctly, exactly the way Coffee used to be before Starbucks took over the market.
I seem to remember coffee (light, no sugar) a buttered roll cost me $1.50 in NYC, c1990.

Testing out the iTouch

I’m posting this from my iPod Touch to see how it does. The keyboard is a little odd, but it’s quite useable. It’s sad that I need my spell-check so much that I notice its absence!

Way Progressive

When I took my business to Progressive, they gave me the option of paper-snail or ebilling. When I picked ebills they said that they would plant a tree in a national park for me. Good customer service (no hold time, friendly, helpful and informative), good rates and a tree. Not bad.
