Moonbats = Nihilism on Parade.
LASSIC pictures of Moonbats at the "Sheehanapalooza" (love that name). Thanks, Michelle! Lest anyone vainly imagine that these are slanted pics, I can tell you horror stories from three years ago when my apartment was behind the barricades for all the protests in San Francisco. The whole mob looked like these pics - a cross between a college pinko squad and aged hippies. And the sincere people they've duped.
But don't let the costumes fool you. It may be nihilism, but I am well aware of just exactly how serious the Communist Front Organisations take this chance to extinguish the light of western culture - no matter how dim it has grown.
Update: I did find a speech from the rally that I liked. Lew Rockwell's talk about states and morality was dead on.
[Bush] said it because the state fears the advocates of peace. It fears the truth, and those who tell the truth. It fears those who dare to judge the state by normal standards of morality.Of course Rockwell was talking to a crowd that largely likes to hold the state to standards they, themselves, do not hold. They will rob business of their freedoms, they will rob economies of their freedoms, they will rob Christians of their freedoms... all to defend their own licence. But, I'm sure the irony was not lost on Lew.
